Not art about dogs. Art created by them. Every FOUND work begins with a real dog's movement. FOUND establishes the creative conditions; the dog determines the marks. The strongest works are then curated for release.

Selected from more than 100 samples, the inaugural Fall 2026 Edition brings together five unique and compelling works. Each composition emerges from dogs’ natural movements. The strongest works are selected for the collection.

The process
A little preparation. A lot of unpredictability.
Prepare the conditions.
We choose the palette and surface, then place the paint beneath a protective membrane.
Let the dog lead.
Participation is voluntary and supervised. The dog determines the movement and marks; the session ends when they are done.
Curate with care.
FOUND selects, documents and finishes the work. Editions reproduce the full composition or a literal detail.
Once the dog begins, we do not manipulate the paint. No marks are added or reconstructed during reproduction.

Every artist brings something different.
FOUND artists include shelter dogs, rescue dogs and other dogs invited into our curated artist program. Each experience is voluntary and designed around the dog's own natural way of engaging — walking, nosing, licking, nudging or simply exploring.

FOUND works with a curated group of canine artists rather than open submissions or personal commissions. As the artist community grows, selected participation opportunities will be shared here.

Every FOUND purchase supports FOUND Shelter Studios, helping bring creative enrichment experiences to dogs in shelter care.
FOUND Shelter Studios brings the same carefully designed, voluntary creative experience used by our featured dog artists into selected shelters and rescue organizations. We provide the materials and operating system; shelter teams facilitate the experience. After each session, FOUND documents the work, curates any pieces selected for sharing, and manages their production and presentation.

ENRICHMENT FIRST
A successful Studio session is one the dog chooses to participate in and can enjoy. The artwork is a possible outcome—not the requirement.
LOW LIFT FOR SHELTERS
FOUND is designed to carry the art business: materials, guidance, return logistics, documentation, curation, production and sales.
PROVENANCE WITH PURPOSE
Every sellable work keeps the dog artist and source artwork visible. Its story is part of its provenance.
